A Virtual Ketamine Assisted Retreat

The Rooted Helper

A Restorative Reset for Therapists and Helping Professionals…

You are so good at taking care of others. Are you ready to invest in your own well-being?

As a therapist or helping professional, you know how vital rest and restoration are, yet making space for yourself can feel complicated.

You might be feeling:

  • Stuck or longing for more in your wellness journey

  • Burned out and needing a reset

  • Disconnected from yourself and craving meaningful reconnection

  • Curious about gentle, supportive ketamine therapy

  • Seeking clarity, spaciousness, or groundedness

  • Wanting community with people who understand the weight you carry

If this resonates, The Rooted Healer: A Ketamine-Assisted Virtual Retreat offers a warm, restorative space to reorient and return to yourself…from the comfort of your own home.

This retreat isn’t about fixing anything. It’s a supported pause; time to breathe, settle your nervous system, reflect, and uncover the wisdom that often gets buried under the work of caring for others.

You’ll join a small group of helping professionals for intention-setting preparation, two supported ketamine sessions, and meaningful integration to help you reset, soften, and feel more grounded.

What is Ketamine and what does it feel like?

Ketamine is a safe, well-studied medicine that can support mental health and emotional well-being. In a therapy setting, it can help you feel more open, calm, and clear-minded, and sometimes allows you to see things from a new perspective. Many people describe it as helping them feel grounded, spacious, or more connected to themselves.

For this retreat, I work with Journey Clinical, a trusted medical provider, to handle all prescribing. Their licensed clinicians will do your medical intake, make sure ketamine is safe for you, and provide your doses. The medication is in lozenge form and will be mailed to your location for you to self-administer during the retreat, so you can participate in this retreat from anywhere in Michigan.

The effects of ketamine last about 45-90 minutes and are usually described as pleasant and expansive. You may feel “far from” your body, which can create space from habitual thoughts and offer new perspectives. During this time, your ability to move or speak will be reduced, so you’ll rest in a comfortable position. After the effects wear off, we’ll spend time processing and discussing your experience. Though hard to put into words, many clients find the insights gained are clear and meaningful. Benefits to mood and brain growth can last up to two weeks.

Why Virtual?

This retreat is intentionally virtual so you can experience the work from the comfort and safety of your own location—often the ideal environment for ketamine sessions. It also keeps the retreat more accessible and affordable, eliminating travel, lodging, and extra space-related costs. A virtual format allows busy helping professionals to participate without adding logistical stress.

What to Expect

Welcome Session - Individual

Let’s get to know each other. You and I will explore intentions, review safety, and set a foundation for your experience.

Medical Evaluation with Journey Clinical

A required consultation with a prescriber to ensure appropriate dosing and safety.

Monday Group Preparation Session (60 minutes)

We’ll gather as a group to learn, reflect, and set intentions.

Friday: Dosing Session I

Spend time grounding to your intention and going inward on your first ketamine experience. This session will last 4 hours and include time for group sharing and integration.

Saturday: Dosing Session II

Return for another guided ketamine journey, grounding exercises, and integration.

Follow-Up Session (optional)

Participants are welcome to schedule a follow-up session for further integration and exploration of themes from your retreat.

**The dosing sessions take place in a small group on a secure online platform. I’ll provide guidance to help you reduce distractions, and you’ll use music to support your inward journey.

**For safety, participants are asked to have a trusted chaperone at home during dosing. They don’t need to join the session itself, but are welcome to if that feels right for you.

As a therapist and certified ketamine-assisted psychotherapy guide, I specialize in creating safe, supportive spaces for personal growth and healing. I’ve witnessed firsthand how burnout, emotional fatigue, and constant caregiving can quietly take a toll on helping professionals.
